Preseli Ride n Camp Weekends

Come and join us for a long weekend of riding, exploring the Preseli Hills and the Golden Road. Suitable for more competent riders 12yrs and older who are capable of riding at trot and canter in open countryside. Please note: to ensure the horses welfare, a 13st (83kg) weight limit applies for riders.


Sample itinerary:

Arrive for a 2pm ride. This will take approximately 2hrs and give you a taster of the Weekend’s riding.

One of the following Full day rides:


The Tafarn Sinc Pub Ride follows the Golden Road over Foel Feddau, the highest ridge in the Preseli Hills, before dropping down through Pantmaenog Forest to Rosebush and a lunch stop at The Tafarn Sinc Pub. You will need to bring some money to pay for your pub lunch.

The Golden Road Picnic Ride includes a visit to the Bronze Age Hill fort at Foel Drygarn, Bedd Arthur Stone circle and Gors Fawr Stone Circle. You will need to provide your own packed lunch - we provide saddlebags.

Half day ride. This will take approximately 3hrs and will explore a different route to the previous two days.

10hrs escorted riding on one of our lovely horses
Use of our latest British Standard Riding Helmets (if required)
Camping pitch (max 3 nights) for tent, caravan or Motorhome (one unit per booking)

Ride n Camp Cost: £300 per person

Additional camping is £15 per night per unit

Electric hook-up is £5 per night per unit (limited availability)

If you don’t fancy camping, then we have our lovely 2 berth “Betty Bow Top” Gypsy Caravan available to rent (this is not included in the cost of the holiday but is an additional extra). Betty Bow Top costs £65 per night with bed linen included (minimum 2 night stay).

Alternatively, there are several holiday homes for rent within walking distance of our stables.
