Sorry we are closed...
Sadly, after 9yrs of welcoming visitors to explore the Preseli Hills on horseback, we have reached the heartbreaking decision to close the pony trekking side of our business. We understand that this news will disappoint our customers, but the current political and economic climate has forced our closure due to our continually increasing overheads, in particular Pembrokeshire County Council licencing costs and Public Liability insurance costs. This coupled with a significant reduction in Tourist numbers visiting West Wales, makes our Seasonal, tourist-dependent, pony trekking business financially unviable and unsustainable.
Some of our beloved horses and cobs are for sale, and we will offer a few for part or full loan (to remain and be kept here). We will also have a limited number of DIY livery spaces available, so if you are interested please email anita@preseliponytrekking.com
Escape to the Hills........
We have a lovely 6 berth holiday home and we also have a Traditional Gypsy Bow Top caravan available on site, so if you fancy a riding holiday with a difference, then why not rent either our Holiday Home or our Gypsy caravan? Book and pay for Pony Trekking to suit yourself......as much or as little riding as you want!
The peace and tranquillity will help you unwind....Get away from stress and enjoy exploring ancient tracks and stone circles, whilst watching Red Kites hunting overhead. From the top of the hills, there are fabulous views of Cardigan Bay and on a clear day Snowdonia and Ireland can be seen. A short drive will take you to lovely beaches, cliffs and castles. Local pubs serve good food and there are shops and takeaways within 3 miles.
Our Summer Season dates fill up really quickly, so to avoid disappointment please book for your Holiday early..... Don't leave it too late!
