Sadly, after 9yrs of welcoming visitors to explore the Preseli Hills on horseback, we have reached the heartbreaking decision to close the pony trekking side of our business. We understand that this news will disappoint our customers, but the current political and economic climate has forced our closure due to our continually increasing overheads, in particular Pembrokeshire County Council licencing costs and Public Liability insurance costs. This coupled with a significant reduction in Tourist numbers visiting West Wales, makes our Seasonal, tourist-dependent, pony trekking business financially unviable and unsustainable.
Some of our beloved horses and cobs are for sale, and we will offer a few for part or full loan (to remain and be kept here). We will also have a limited number of DIY livery spaces available, so if you are interested please email anita@preseliponytrekking.com
The Villa
The Villa is a 37' x 12' six berth holiday home fully equipped to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. It is situated in its own enclosed yard with stunning views across the fields to Foel Dyrch and Foel Cwmcerwyn. There is plenty of parking available immediately outside the holiday home.
The holiday home has a main double bedroom ensuite with shower, a twin bedroom and a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge contains a 32' flatscreen TV/Dvd. There are plenty of DVDs to watch, books to read and games to play if it is a rainy day. The kitchen diner is equipped with a fridge freezer, electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and even a washing machine! The holiday home also contains an iron and ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner, and a hairdryer.
We provide bedding and pillows, and bed linen. You will need to bring your own towels. The welcome pack includes some tea, coffee, sugar, our own free range eggs, and a pint of milk to get you started. We also leave a couple of toilet rolls in the bathroom in case of emergency. Any further supplies required will have to be purchased by yourself. Gas, electricity and heating are included in your rental.
Behind the Holiday home, there is a private garden with a picnic table and a BBQ, so you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Hills and Common. You will have to bring your own charcoal for the BBQ.
