Sorry we are closed...
Sadly, after 9yrs of welcoming visitors to explore the Preseli Hills on horseback, we have reached the heartbreaking decision to close the pony trekking side of our business. We understand that this news will disappoint our customers, but the current political and economic climate has forced our closure due to our continually increasing overheads, in particular Pembrokeshire County Council licencing costs and Public Liability insurance costs. This coupled with a significant reduction in Tourist numbers visiting West Wales, makes our Seasonal, tourist-dependent, pony trekking business financially unviable and unsustainable.
Some of our beloved horses and cobs are for sale, and we will offer a few for part or full loan (to remain and be kept here). We will also have a limited number of DIY livery spaces available, so if you are interested please email anita@preseliponytrekking.com

An Excellent Half-Day Ride 8 June 2021
I highly recommend Preseli Pony Trekking. Although I used to ride fairly regularly it was some while since I had last done so and was feeling a little nervous. Anita, Charlie and Sarah were both welcoming and professional. They were very safety conscious, both in terms of matching me to an appropriate horse and in observing Covid regulations. I rode Blue, a well-mannered yet forward-going piebald mare (with blue eyes, hence her name!) The three-hour circular ride was great. There were several opportunities to canter before and after riding at a slower pace up onto the top of the Preseli Hills to the rocky crags at the summit. From there, the views up towards Snowdonia and down over Swansea Bay were fantastic. Anita led the ride and was extremely informative about the local area and landmarks which added to the afternoon’s enjoyment. I returned to the stables with my confidence restored and very much hope to ride there again. Many thanks!
